Westrand Metrology Services cc was established in 2000 to provide a complete Dimensional Calibration service to all industries, with respect to Quality management.
We offer over 70 years of combined experience in the field of SANAS-approved Dimensional Metrology.
Frans Viljoen (Technical Manager), worked as a Metrologist at Naschem.
SANAS Accredited Dimensional Metrology Laboratory from 1982. In 1984 he qualified as a SANAS Dimensional Metrologist and in 1989 he became the Deputy Head of the Metrology Laboratory.
In 2000 Frans founded Westrand Metrology Services.
Marie Botha (Quality Manager), has worked at Naschem as a Dimensional Metrologist form 1977.
In 1986 she underwent the Dimensional Metrology course at the Technikon Pretoria School of Mechanical Engineers, where she qualified as a SANAS Dimensional Metrologist. In 1995 Marie underwent the SANAS Technical assessor course and is registered as a SANAS Technical Assessor.
In 1990 she became the Head of the Metrology Dimensional Laboratory till 2005, after which Marie join Westrand Metrology Services as the Quality Manager.
SERVICES:
• Calibration, repairs and sales of new & secondhand Engineering Measuring Equipment.
• We offer 3D part design and manufacturing of production Gauges.
